Ashikaga Scramble City Studio|Notice of Operations Ending on December 31, 2025
Ashikaga Scramble City Studio ceased operations on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
Constructed in July 2019 by Geek Pictures and its group company Nouvelle Vague Nouvelle Vague,
it operated as a filming studio starting in June 2020.
Since then, it has been utilized for a wide range of purposes, including approximately 70 film and video productions such as movies, dramas, TV commercials, and music videos,
as well as fashion shows and traffic safety classes at local kindergartens and elementary schools.
Furthermore, we held four public events over the years. The final event this past November drew a record attendance of 6,150 visitors.
On that day, we presented programs highlighting the studio's unique characteristics and regional appeal, allowing attendees of all ages to experience the studio's charm firsthand.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved, including the residents of Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture, the creators who utilized the studio, and all those who contributed to its operation.
Keeping pace with the ever-evolving film production industry,
we will leverage the experience and insights cultivated at this studio to pursue the creation of further cutting-edge technologies.
We sincerely hope you will continue to look forward to our future developments.
