Agreement reached with AA Films, a leading film distributor in India, for a business alliance.

Geek Pictures and its Indian subsidiary Geek Pictures Pvt. Ltd. (GPI) have acquired the rights to distribute films and other visual works produced by AA Films, an Indian film distribution company, in Japan. GPI has also agreed to become the exclusive agent in Japan for the distribution of Japanese films, animations and other visual works throughout India through AA Films.

AA Films is one of the leading film distributors in India and has produced a number of blockbuster hits such as “Baahubali” series, “K.G.F.” series, “Pushpa Awakening” followed by “Pushpa 2: The Rule” which was released in approximately 6,500 screens in India and achieved a record box-office revenue of approximately 14.7 billion rupees (approximately 25 billion yen).
