The Dentsu Advertising Awards, established in December 1947, are the oldest comprehensive advertising awards in Japan. By recognizing the works of advertisers with excellent advertising communication, the awards aim to broaden the solutions open to advertisers and contribute to the development of the industry, economy, and culture in Japan.

The selection is made by the selection committee members from the Dentsu Advertising Awards Screening Committee composed of about 500 experts including advertisers, media companies and creators around the country. There are many advertising awards in Japan and around the world, but only few with such a large screening committee and covering such a wide range of areas, making these awards highly regarded as the leading advertising awards in Japan.

These 77th awards targeted advertising communication works between April 2023 and March 2024. and announced 61 winning works from a total of 1,178 entries.
