Great response! The completion announcement of “YASUKO, SONGS of DAYS PAST,” a movie produced by Geek Pictures and produced by Geek Site, a Geek Group company, was held on the stage.
GeekCommunity Group company GeekSite, a GeekCommunity production company, produced the film “#Yukite kaeranu” at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills on Thursday, January 30, 2025!
The main cast, including Suzu Hirose (playing Yasuko Hasegawa), who wears in a Taisho Roman-style kimono, Taise Kido (playing Chuuya Nakahara), and Masaki Okada (playing Hideo Kobayashi), as well as director Kichitaro Negishi, who directed the film, were on hand to discuss the film's appeal, which was unveiled in full force.
Set in the Taisho era (1912-1926), the film features Yasuko Hasegawa, a fledgling actress, as the main character, and depicts the “love” and “youth” of three talented young people, Chuuya Nakahara, a poet, and Hideo Kobayashi, a critic, who lived in the same era and met her, with no turning back.
When asked about her impression of the filming, which included many intense emotional clashes, Hirose replied, "It's really intense, isn't it (the relationship between the three)? It was an exhausting, physically demanding role.It was a role that required a lot of energy."
As for Yasuko Hasegawa, Hirose said, "It's a cool role, but it's a role in which she lives every day while grinding something. I am sure that if you watch the film, you will understand what I mean. "
The completion of the film was greeted with a great response from the audience.
