“Hoon Payon”; a new era horror movie from Thailand, will be released overseas for the first time!
Trailers and posters for the first overseas release of the Thai horror film, "Hoon Payon", are complete and will be released nationwide at theaters such as Cinemart Shinjuku from July 5th (Fri).
"Hoon Payon" was nominated for the special project, "Thai Cinema Kaleidoscope" at the 19th Osaka Asian Film Festival (OAFF2024) held on March 10th. Its first overseas release in Japan is attracting a lot of attention!
This work marks a new chapter in Thai films and stars 2 of Thailand's biggest young stars - Poonpat lam-samang ("Up") of Thai BL drama fame ("Lovely Writer The Series", "Step by Step", etc.), and Phuwin Tangsakyuen ("Phuwin") who starred in "The Gifted Graduation'', and "Fish Upon the Sky", etc.
