We are pleased to announce that a new series of the drama "Midnight Diner" (Shinya Shokudo), with Geek Pictures participating as one of the production companies, will air on MBS/TBS in Autumn 2026.

Based on the renowned "food" manga by Yaro Abe—which has surpassed 9 million copies in global circulation—the drama first debuted in 2009 starring Kaoru Kobayashi. Despite its late-night time slot, it became a massive sensation, leading to "Midnight Diner 2" in 2011 and "Midnight Diner 3" in 2014.

From 2016, the series expanded to a global audience as a Netflix Original with "Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories" (Series 4 & 5), currently streaming in 190 countries. The franchise has also seen two feature film adaptations and successful remakes in China and South Korea, captivating fans worldwide.

Now, for the first time in seven years since the previous installment, the original cast and crew have reunited to bring this beloved world back to life. The new series is scheduled to premiere in Autumn 2026. Please stay tuned for further updates!
