“New York Japan Cinefest 2023” award
We are pleased to announce that the short movie produced by us, "Seen", won the “Audience Award” at the “New York Japan Cinefest 2023” awards.
The “New York Japan Cinefest” awards (hereinafter abbreviated to “NYJCF”) were founded in 2012 by three Japanese people based in New York – Yasu Suzuki (actor/movie director), Kosuke Furukawa (movie maker), and Hiroshi Kono (event/music producer, and representative of Mar Creation, Inc.). This movie festival introduces independent short movies that have a Japanese theme.
The movie festival was held locally this year for the first time in four years. It partnered with the 2023 “Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia” (hereinafter abbreviated to “SSFF & Asia”). Our movie also won the “Excellence Award” at SSFF & Asia and was screened at the event.
